LASvendi for 5 years GmbH

5 years ago the LASvendi GmbH was founded. On the 1st Jan. 2011 the GmbH took over the business activities of the individual enterprise. Over the past year, numerous new customers had been acquired. Year 2010 to 2015 the sales increased by 250%.
Embryo yield higher with phytoestrogen-poor diet

Conclusions:Taken together, many factors are influencing the production and recovery of (frozen/thawed) embryos. To handle the whole procedure economically and under the crucial aspect of animal welfare, especially the 3Rs, all aspects must be under continuous surveillance and individually optimized. Several parameters might be influenced by standard procedures; however, to date, not all mechanisms of action are yet completely understood. However, our data show that the embryo yield is significantly higher when feeding the donor animals with phytoestrogen-poor diet and housing the donor animals at 24° C.

Federal Aviation Agency classifies transport box as "safe"

The LASspecial transport box has been approved by the Federal Aviation Agency (Luftfahrt Bundesamt, LBA) to be safe. Thanks to World Courier for support.
The box corresponds to IATA regulations and is autoclavable. The surface has enough space to install the necessary shipping labels in compliance with regulations. TranportBox and lids are supplied pre-assembled. Dividers can be ordered according to requirements and are easy to assemble.

Inspection by Authority without complaint

Regularly LASvendi is monitored by the State Office for Nature Conservation, Environment and Consumer Protection NRW (LANUV). This took place on 19.06.15. There were no complaints or evidence.
LASbedding suitable for IWT dispenser systems

Automatic filling systems are becoming increasingly important for lab animal housing. The LASbedding PG1, PG2, 150/400 had been tested by IWT SRL. This was based on the free flow of material on the "standalone bedding dispenser BDS +".
Also the finer bedding types LASbedding Grad150/400 (spruce, granulated, 2 mm) and LASbedding PG2 (poplar, granulated, 2-4 mm) are suitable for automatic filling systems.
Bedding under the limit of PAK for smoked meat

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous environmental contaminants. The Certificate of Analysis for bedding generated on 17/02/15 showed a content of 6.8 μg/kg for the sum of benzo (a) pyrene, benz (a) anthracene, benzo (b) fluoranthene and chrysene.
"Smoked meats and smoked meat products" (6.1.4) shall apply from 9.1.2014 a maximum level of 12.0 μg/kg for the sum of benzo(a)pyrene, benz(a)anthracene, benzo(b)fluoranthene and chrysene. [REGULATION (EC) no. 1881/2006 of 19 December 2006 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs, as amended, inter alia by Regulation (EU) No. 835/2011 of the Commission of 19 August 2011 regulates, inter alia Section 6]
Under the new Toy Safety Directive 2009/48 / EC a values of up to 100 mg/kg is permitted.

New poplar litter PG2

The poplar bedding LASbedding PG2 has passed successfully test at customers and is available now. This type closes the gap between the fine bedding PG1 (mainly for the French market) and the coarser PG3.
The PG2 is available in 10 kg bags or in big bags. Ask for a quotation.
LASvendi closes 2014 with record revenue

LASvendi look back on a successful year. In particular, the turnover of the last few months has been encouraging. In the last quarter, an increase of over 50% was achieved in comparison to 2013.
Several new customers in the area LASdiets and LASbedding have influenced the sale positive. The irradiated diets are an outstanding source of revenue. The new products from poplar wood (PG1, PG3) were well accepted by customers.
The launch of new product groups LASprotect , LAShygiene and LASspedials was convincing. Since presentation at the GV-SOLAS at Frankfurt numerous new customers join LASvendi.
We thank our customers and suppliers for their trust and cooperation.
